Volunteer with TCC Wellness Services to promote student well-being and make a positive impact on the TCC community.

Student Wellness Advisory Board (SWAB)

Students on the Student Wellness Advisory Board (SWAB) will provide feedback as well as advocate for the health and wellness of all TCC students.

SWAB meets virtually once a month during the Fall and Spring semester. All students are welcome and receive an hour for Tulsa Achieves.

Looking to earn volunteer hours and make a difference? Join Wellness Advocates! This flexible opportunity lets you support student wellness by helping with events, sharing resources, and raising awareness about health topics across the TCC community.

Peer Health Education Program Scholarship

The primary role of a Peer Health Educator (PHE) is to develop and implement health education and awareness programs with the goal of improving the long-term healthy behaviors of TCC students. Health education topics include stress management, healthy sleep habits, mental health, sexual health, alcohol and drug prevention, suicide prevention, healthy relationships and more. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Current TCC student
  • Must maintain at least a 2.5 GPA
  • Interested in health and wellness
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
  • Must be in good conduct standing with TCC
  • Support the goals, expectations, and mission of Wellness Services and Tulsa Community College
  • Be able to commit approximately 3 hours per week

The scholarship application process opens each Spring semester.
